Isabela Island
Isabela Island is the largest island in the Ecuadorian archipelago of the Galapagos Islands, with 4588 km² of surface. It represents 60% of the total land area of the Galapagos Islands.
Isabela Island is the largest
land mass in the Galapagos and one of the most popular islands to visit. The
combination of diverse wildlife and spectacular volcanic landscapes is hard to
beat. There are snorkeling, hiking and diving activities to enjoy. The quiet
town of Isabela and the beautiful beach are the best places to hang out.

these fascinating birds have incredibly lost the ability to fly.
• Isabela is a great place to
observe Marine Iguanas, with large colonies at several different visitor sites.

reef sharks and seahorses in Los Tuneles.
• Isabela is home to a great
diversity of Galapagos landbirds. The avid bird watcher should keep an eye out
for Galapagos Finches (including the critically endangered mangrove finch),
Flamingos, Galapagos Pigeons, pintail ducks, many waders and shorebirds,
Galapagos Hawks and much more.
• Colonies of both Galapagos
Sea Lions and Sea Lions can be found on the west coast of Isabela. See if you
can tell them apart.

Originally called Albermarle or Santa Gertrudis, today Isla Isabela is the largest island in the Galapagos archipelago that offers a variety of land and marine tourist sites.
Its volcanoes, six in total, still active, are responsible for shaping the profile of the island into a hippocampus. The highest point on this island is the Wolf Volcano, with an altitude of approximately 1,707 meters.

Yasuni National Park
The Yasuní National Park is
located in the Ecuadorian Amazon region, it is located in areas of the
sub-basins of the Tiputini, Yasuní, Nashiño, Cononaco and Curaray rivers,
tributaries of the Napo River, which in turn flows into the Amazon. The Park
has a horseshoe shape and extends from the south of the Napo River and north of
the Curaray River, extending through the middle basin of the Tivacuno River.
Yasuní is one of the most
biodiverse areas of the Earth, studies speak of 150 species of amphibians, 121
of reptiles, 598 species of birds, between 169 (confirmed) and 204 (estimated)
mammals, and flora have been identified 2,113 species and it is estimated that
there are around 3,100.
The Ecuadorian Amazon area is
rich in oil deposits and the oil economy is the pillar on which the economy of
the Ecuadorian State has been sustained since the 1970s.
Yasuní, the largest protected
area in continental Ecuador, protects an impressive biodiversity in the heart
of the Amazonian tropical rainforest and protects part of the territory of the
Waorani nationality. Surprising biodiversity figures have been reported in
Yasuní for various groups of flora and fauna, never before recorded in any
protected area.
Yasuní National Park is one of the most protected areas in the Amazon region.
Here we can go hiking at the Yaku Kawsay interpretation center, the observation tower of the Añangu community, Pink Dolphins in the Martinica community, El Gran Ceibos and the Boa Rosada tree in the Indillama community.

Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve
The Cuyabeno Fauna
Production Reserve is located in the Sucumbíos Province, in the northeast of
the Amazon Region of Ecuador, with an area of 590,112 ha. It is one of the most
biodiverse places on the planet along with the Yasuní National Park.
The Cuyabeno reserve belongs to the National System of
Protected Areas of the Ministry of the Environment (MAE), it is located in the
Province of Sucumbíos, northeast of the Amazon Region of Ecuador.
The main attractions of the Cuyabeno are related to the
enormous biodiversity and the imposing hydrographic system that is part of the
Amazon Basin. The latter is the largest and the largest in the world.
Near the banks of the Cuyabeno and Aguarico rivers live 7
indigenous communities, belonging to five nationalities: Sionas, Secoyas,
Cofanes, Quichuas and Shuaras, which offer the opportunity to carry out
community tourism.
These ethnic groups are, for the most part, small
populations that subsist on hunting, fishing, agriculture and ecotourism
activities.
Ecotourism in the wildlife reserve begins with the purpose
of generating sustainable income for the different indigenous families, in
addition to protecting the fauna and the ecosystem.
Since then, it has become a way to boost tourism in this
area of Ecuador. The main attractions of the RPFC are related to the enormous
biodiversity, the hydrographic system and the presence of indigenous cultures
that offer community tourism.
The Cuyabeno Reserve is a beautiful place full of
nature and its people who are very nice and friendly to all visitors.
When
visiting Cuyabeno we will find a magic full of many activities.
We
can observe pink and gray dolphins, hiking in the tropical rainforest,
excursions or night walks, bird watching or paddle and kayak practice in the
Laguna Grande. As if that were not enough, we can share ancestral rituals of
shamanism and traditional medicine in an environment of cultural exchange where
it will be possible to enjoy the local gastronomy, with the traditional
preparation of Casabe and many exquisite delicacies.
